On March 10, 2012, Ryan Hipp will be presented with what just may be the biggest statewide honor that a children’s author or illustrator can receive in Michigan – the Gwen Frostic Award, for work that has greatly impacted and influenced literacy of children. The award will be presented to Ryan by the Michigan Reading Association at a gala dinner this upcoming Saturday.

Ryan cannot thank his fans and supporters enough – students all over Michigan, teachers and librarians, media specialists, parents, and families for his career being what it is today.
